By participating in this program, prisoners are given the opportunity to give back and make a positive impact on society, which can be a validating experience. Through this program, prisoners are encouraged to focus on their ability to create positive change, rather than solely on their past mistakes. This helps to reinforce their identity in Jesus and empowers them to make a difference.
